WELCOME!

Well, family, first of all I'd like to say thank you for choosing to participate in this venture!  It's already been a lot of fun and interesting!
The vision I have of this (and it is still a work in progress) is to create a forum to share memories of our growing up years.  We are all so spread out right now and I thought this would be a fun way to connect and reminisce!  I imagined that as we received the new posts, that it would be like a virtual sitting around after dinner or a family get together and sharing.  In the real world we might end up visiting late into the night and one person's memory would spark another's and then another's and on and on.  This way we don't have to stay up late but can still get something to the effect of a gathering like that.
Thanks for all that has been shared so far!  Looking forward to more!
