Kids

Our finances were pretty tight in those days (the 50’s-60’s etc) We had one trike that everyone got to share (your kids won’t likely believe that) 20 mins by the timer was the rule……about that time we had given to us a set of watercolor paints……with only one brush…..it was Jody’s turn with the brush (just like the trike) and I noticed Lanny was painting too…..when I looked closer Lanny’s paint brush looked different…..different but it was working just fine…..he had clipped off some of his own hair and glued it to a popsicle stick and was painting away!  A budding inventor. 

Mackie used to say “It’s not good to compliment yourself is it Mommy?”  May I be forgiven.
