Happy Birthday 2011 Marshall!! The memory I have with you is a very recent one. When we went to the Flames game a couple months back. I really enjoyed my evening with you and was amazed once again as I have been at other times with your expertise in hockey in general and the Calgary Flames specifically. I always learn something more about the team or the game of hockey when I talk with you about it. It is obviously a great passion of yours and one you are very knowledgable about. And Marshall, one of the things I love about you is your gentle nature. I admire the way that you are when I spend time with you and the kind way you have about you and the interest you have in me and my family. Love you Marsh!!!
Our internet was off for a week and we finally got it back on today, as well as having a major illness that has floored our kids and grandkids and I missed 3 days of work this week. So much for "I missed your Birthday". I remember last year we had an easter egg hunt for you, or was that the year before? What a blur. The memory I have is of a Christmas when Cindy and I were first married and we took you and trooper to the hill behind 10th street and maybe Beth too, late on Christmas eve and went tubing. The car rolled down the alley by itself and trooper bit the tube on the way up the hill after we tied it to his collar, but we had a good time and I was very happy to be with my little brother and my new wife that night.
